Abstract : 		Red River Army Depot provides responsive and innovative solutions for the Department
of Defense in repair. RRAD started their Lean journey in March 2001 and continues
still with their latest Lean transformation in the HMMWV Recapitalization. The presentation
will trace this project which saw a 77% increase in productivity; output increased
x 35 (yes, x 35!); and a 67% reduction in lead time. Discussion will include lessons
learned, obstacles and future plans for improvement.
