An Award Winning Lean Implementation in progress…

Attendees will learn what it takes to implement a lean strategy across multiple facilities beginning with a Master Plan and an effective lean culture. We will discuss the foundational elements of lean manufacturing such as operator training and involvement, maintenance and operational excellence and standardization as well as how to apply these tools in order to ensure that they are well understood and sustainable. The presentation will highlight some of our past experiences with what has worked well, what needs improvement and how to keep the momentum going strong.

Cindy Grolleman, Corporate Stackpole Production System Leader / Training & Development Coordinator

Cindy has more than 14 years of experience in the automotive parts manufacturing industry as well as 5 years experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies. She has gained valuable hands-on knowledge of JIT, TQM, 5S, Kaizen, VSM, TPM, SMED, Problem Solving and Lean Training & Development.

Cindy was a key member of the team that developed and implemented the Stackpole Production System (SPS) at the Automotive Gear Division and now works closely with all divisions in order to improve the bottom line performance and competitive edge of Stackpole Limited – A Tomkins Company.

Angelo Esposito, Corporate Director of Stackpole Production System and Continuous Improvement

Angelo has been working in the automotive Industry for 28 years. His Lean journey began 14 years ago and it’s been hands on ever since. He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and has led and participated in the successful implementation of Lean and Continuous improvement systems for International companies at locations in Brazil, Mexico, Germany, UK, United States and Canada.

Angelo has been leading the implementation of the Stackpole Production System (SPS) and he and his team work closely with each location to implement the system across all divisions of Stackpole Limited – A Tomkins Company.
