COM DEV Ltd., based in Cambridge, Ontario is the largest (over 700 employees) Canadian-based designer and manufacturer of space hardware subsystems. Our products have flown on over 600 space missions through major prime contractors in US, Europe and Asia for use in communications, space science, remote sensing, and military satellites. COM DEV Fabrication Centre being showcased was designed (by our own people) and commissioned in Fall ’04 through bottoms up approach. The shop employees have been using our ‘existing’ lean toolbox, industrial engineering, and common sense concepts since Feb ’05.
