Title: It’s A Lean Emergency
Putting Our Company Through The Lean Emergency Room
Presentation
Abstract :

The story of TC Industries, Inc. is an example of making quick improvements and keeping them. The sudden and momentous change of the management, people, and culture is clearly seen. We had a crisis and didn’t want to be a casually, so we put our company through the Lean Emergency Room.

The scope of this presentation is a ‘how to’ approach to assigning priorities to your Lean implementation similar to how an Emergency Room sets their priorities. The presentation will answer the following questions. How severe is the crisis? What should I do first? What do I do when everything seems urgent? How do I put my company through the Lean Emergency Room? What were our lessons learned?

During the first six months of our Lean implementation we recorded a 40% reduction in total cycle time and a 60% increase in on time delivery
