Lean Certification “cram” Course
Workshop Description:

Come to this popular program that is effective at preparing candidates for the Bronze-level exam. This event is appropriate whether you are preparing for a certification or are just looking to see how your knowledge stacks up to the certification’s knowledge standard.

During this focused 2-day review, Lean facilitators review topics covered in the exam to prepare you to take and pass the Bronze-level certification exam.

The collaborative, group format allows Lean practitioners to share ideas and solidify their knowledge about foundational Lean concepts. You will also get a getter understanding of the portfolio requirement for the Bronze level. The result is better prepared, more focused participants who know what they need to succeed at Lean Certification!

Review activities will include:

  • Review of the Body of Knowledge
  • Practice exercises
  • Sample test questions
  • Review of recommended reading materials
  • Discussion about Lean Certification portfolio and mentoring requirements

Days 1 and 2: Bronze-level Review Program

Day 3: Lean Bronze Certification Exam (optional—additional fee required)

This program is recommended for anyone interested in pursuing any of the three levels of Lean Certification. You should have at least foundational lean knowledge and competency. The Bronze-level exam is the starting point for obtaining certification and is a requirement for all levels of Lean Certification.

Biography:

Keith Stout

Keith has worked at ACE Metal Crafts for over 15 years, following his father’s footsteps of a 40 year career at ACE. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Keith has been involved in every aspect of company operations from sales and engineering to production management to his current position of Vice President of Operations.

With a leadership style based on teamwork and his experience in sales he was quick to see how Lean, a customer focused manufacturing philosophy, would work in ACE’s culture. Keith has passion for teamwork and the ACE team. He promotes a blame free environment that focuses energy on teaming and beating the competition. He lives in a western suburb of Chicago with his wife and four young children.
